I have been making this for at least 30 years and my family loves it! You can sub ground turkey for the beef and use cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken, which does change the flavor of this recipe. Both ways are good! If you like more meat, corn or mushrooms - add it!

Ingredients For hamburger, mac & cheese casserole

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 md
    yellow onion
  • 2 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    corn
  • 1 can
    mushrooms
  • 2 box
    kraft macaroni and cheese

How To Make hamburger, mac & cheese casserole

    Cut up the onion and saute in a skillet. Add the ground beef and cook till done. Drain.

    While the beef is cooking, make the Mac & Cheese per the directions on the box.

    When the beef and mac & cheese are done, mix them together in one big pot.

    Add the cream of chicken soup, corn and mushrooms and mix all together. My family likes it with 2 cans of soup. Put one in and taste to see your liking. That's it!! Enjoy!!
