Ingredients

1/2 stick
margarine (i use butter)
2
large onions
1
large greene pepper
1
large can of tomatoes
2 c
water
15 oz
can tomato sauce
sugar to taste
salt & pepper to taste
12 oz
bag of uncooked noodles
8 oz
package mozzarella cheese

Step-By-Step

1IN A LARGE KETTLE OR DUTCH OVEN SAUTE' 1/2 STICK OF MARGARINE, 2 LARGE ONIONS, CHOPPED, 1 LARGE GREEN PEPPER CUTE IN LONG THIN STRIPS.
2ADD 2 LBS GROUND CHUCK AND COOK UNTIL MEAT LOSES ITS REDNESS. ADD TOMATOES, WATER, TOMATO SAUCE, SUGAR, SALT & PEPPER
3IN A 9X12X2 BAKING PAN PLACE A 12 OZ BAG OF UNCOOKED NOODLES. SPOON THE MEAT MIXTURE OVER THE NOODLES, COVER THIS WITH AN 8 OZ PKG OF MOZZARELLA CHEESE. COVER WITH FOIL AND BAKED FOR 1 HOUR IN 350 DEGREE OVEN
