Grandma's Baked Spaghetti

Note: For the cheese I go to the deli and have them cut me a hunk of cheese as close to 1 lb as possible. Better to go over than under:)
Ingredients

1 1/2 lbground chuck

1med/lg onion, diced small

3/4 tspor 1 pod garlic, minced

1 tspbasil, dried

1 Tbspparsley flakes

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

·salt and pepper to taste

1 can(s)4oz mushrooms, sliced (do not drain)
-
128oz and 1 16oz can diced tomatoes (do not drain, and no crushed tomatoes)
-
5servings of spaghetti, cook and drain
-
1 lbamerican cheese, shredded
