Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
- 3 - bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 2 - 15 oz. cans diced tomatoes with garlic & onions
- 2 - 15 oz. cans tomato sauce, no-salt added
- 3 cups water
- 5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 pounds ground beef, leanest you can get
- 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
- - sour cream
- - paprika
- - shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make goulash

Step 1In a dutch oven, saute the ground beef over medium high heat until no pink remains. Break up the meat while sauteing. Spoon off any grease.

Step 2Add onions & garlic to the pot & saute until they are tender, about 5 minutes.

Step 3Add water along with tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, soy sauce & all seasonings. Stir well.

Step 4Place a lid on the pot & allow to cook for 15 - 20 minutes. Add macaroni, stir well. Return the lid to the pot & simmer for 30 minutes.

Step 5Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaves & allow the mixture to sit about 30 minutes more before serving. Top off with desired toppings.
