    spaghetti, uncooked
  • 8
    garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1/2 c
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    fresh chives, snipped
  • 4 Tbsp
    fresh sage, chopped
  • ·
    salt to taste
  • ·
    pepper to taste

How to Make Garlicky Pasta with Fresh Green Herbs


  1. Cook spaghetti until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the garlic in the olive oil until it smells fragrant, just a few moments.
  3. Toss in the herbs and remove from the heat.
  4. Drain the pasta and toss in the pan with the garlicky herbs.
  5. Season and serve and do not add cheese as it only interferes with the herbal flavors.
  6. Be sure to add enough salt and pepper, however.
