1 pkg(12 ounce) penne pasta

1 cpanko bread crumbs
-
4 tspgarlic powder,divided
-
1 cgrated parmesan cheese,divided
-
30large shelled shrimps,peeled and deveined
-
1 Tbspolive oil
-
1 Tbspmargarine
-
1large vidalia onion,peeled and chopped
-
2 Tbspminced garlic
-
1 cchicken broth,divided
-
1 chalf and half
-
1 bottlegarlic parmesan sauce,divided

1 cheavy cream
How To Make garlic parmesan shrimp scampi with penne?

1Cook penne pasta according to package directions.Drain and rinse in cold water.Set aside.

2In a large ziplock bag,combine bread crumbs,2 teaspoons garlic powder and 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese.

3Add the shrimps,zip the bag and shake it for 30 seconds.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat;cook the shrimps until golden brown,about 2 minutes per side.

4Remove from heat.Transfer the shrimps to a large plate and set aside.

5Heat margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat.Saute chopped vidalia onion and minced garlic for 2 minutes until are tender.

6Add 1/2 cup chicken broth,half and half and 1/2 bottle garlic parmesan sauce and remaining garlic powder.Simmer for about 5 minutes.

7Stir in heavy cream,remaining chicken broth and remaining garlic parmesan sauce and simmer for 10 minutes more or until are thickened

8Add cooked penne pasta and shrimp mixture;mix well,simmer again about 3 minutes.Sprinkle with remaining grated parmesan cheese before serving.
