How To Make fried spaghetti
-
Step 1THE DAY BEFORE: Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain & place in a large bowl. Refrigerate overnight.
-
Step 2In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, cheeses, basil, salt, onion & garlic powders, parsley & pepper. Pour the mixture over the spaghetti & toss to coat well.
-
Step 3In a large skillet, add olive oil & butter over medium heat. Mix the two around to cover the skillet surface.
-
Step 4Add the tossed spaghetti to the skillet & spread across the surface. Do not stir the spaghetti once it covers the surface of the pan, but let it fry on the bottom & heat through. Cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, until the bottom of the spaghetti is a golden brown, about 5 - 10 minutes (just keep checking.
-
Step 5Turn the skillet out onto a serving plate and cut into wedges.
-
Step 6Top with additional parmesan cheese, if desired. And serve with Italian Sausage on the side.
