garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1 tsp
dried parsley
1 tsp
dried basil
3/4 tsp
dried oregano
1 tsp
1/4 tsp
5/8 tsp
1/4 c
whipping cream
1 lb
penne, cooked and drained
1/4 c
parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make Fresh Tomato Pasta Toss


  • 1In a saucepan, bring water to a boil; dip tomatoes in water.
  • 2Peel skins and discard.
  • 3Chop pulp; set aside.
  • 4In a skillet over medium heat, saute garlic in oil.
  • 5Add tomato pulp, parsley ,basil, oregano, salt, sugar and pepper; mix well.
  • 6Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  • 7Add cream.
  • 8Heat through.
  • 9Pour over hot pasta and toss to coat.
  • 10Sprinkle with cheese.
