i make this every year on Christmas. just something fun and different, and a family tradition that we love

Ingredients

  • 1 - "grandma mary's spahetti sauce" (search for the recipie)
  • 2 boxes lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 pound provolone
  • 1 package fresh shredded parmasean
  • 1 package ricotta cheese
  • 2 pounds mozzarella cheese
  • 2 pounds medium cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make five-cheese lasagna

  • Step 1
    put a little sauce in the bottom of the pan, then layer. Noodles, Sauce, Cheese, repeat
  • Step 2
    i usually get 3 layers in a 9X13 pan
  • Step 3
    i'll usually bake it at 350 for an hour. covered with foil the first 45, then uncovered til it's done. the way i like to check for doneness is to look around the edges for the sauce to be bubbling up. that's a good indication that the middle's gotten all gooey-yummy
