My best friend and I used to treat ourselves to this at a small local italian restaurant and it was a real treat. Imagine my suprise to find out how simple it really is to make!

  • 1/2 pound bacon
  • 12 ounces fettucini
  • 1/4 cup butter -(soften)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream -(room temp)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 - eggs -(slightly beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley

How To Make fettucini carbonara

  • Step 1
    SAUTE BACON CRISP DRAIN AND CRUMBLE
  • Step 2
    COOK FETTUCINI AND DRAIN WELL
  • Step 3
    PLACE IN WARM DISH LARGE ENOUGH FOR TOSSING. ADD BACON, BUTTER, CREAM, CHEESE AND EGG. TOSS WELL AND TOP W/SNIPPED PARSLEY
