- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1/2 cup butter
- 6.5 ounces tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces fettuccine, cooked according to package directions
- 3 cups red lettuce, leaves

Step 1In a medium skillet, over medium heat, cook the onion and garlic in the butter for 2 minutes.

Step 2Add the tuna and pepper; cook and stir for an additional 2 minutes more.

Step 3In a large bowl, toss the hot fettuccine with the tuna sauce and lettuce until well mixed.
