Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 24 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) beef broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1 - (12 oz.) box shell noodles or macaroni noodles
- - grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- - fresh chopped parsley (optional)
How To Make easy skillet pasta & meat sauce

Step 1In a deep skillet, brown ground beef with onion, garlic and mushroom; Drain off grease and return meat mixture to pan.

Step 2Add pasta, tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, beef broth, water, salt & pepper, and Italian seasoning. Give a quick stir just to combine.

Step 3Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or so, over low heat, stirring occasionally until liquid is absorbed and pasta is fully cooked. Add water 1/2 cup at a time, if necessary to continue cooking pasta.

Step 4Serve in pasta bowls with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley.
