Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deviened
- 12 ounces linguine pasta
- salt and pepper
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
- 2 ounces olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium shallot, chopped
- 2 anchovies, chopped
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 1/2 cups chicken or seafood broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- black truffle oil, for serving
How To Make easy shrimp linguine

Step 1Place the linguine in a pot of boiling salted water and cook for about 15 minutes.

Step 2Make the sauce. Place the olive oil in a saucepan. Add the garlic and shallots and cook for 1 minute. Add the anchovies and let dissolve.

Step 3Add the wine and bring to a boil. Add the chicken stock and let reduce for 5 minutes.

Step 4Add the shrimp and cherry tomatoes to the sauce and cook until the tomatoes start to burst.

Step 5Stir in the linguine and 1 cup pasta sauce. Cook 5 minutes. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper.

Step 6Top the dish with basil and a drizzle of truffle oil.
