Ingredients For easy ramen stir-fry

  • 9 oz
    ramen packets (3 packets)
  • 1/2 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef, ground turkey, ground chicken
  • 1/2
    large onion, chopped
  • 3 c
    broccoli florettes
  • 2
    carrots, sliced thin
  • 1 md
    bell pepper, red or any color, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger, fresh (or less if using ground)
  • 4-6 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2
    green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • SAUCE
  • 3/4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/3 c
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 3 Tbsp
    asian sweet chile sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 2 tsp
    asian hot sauce (like sriracha) to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make easy ramen stir-fry

  • 1
    Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, but no longer than 2 minutes. Drain, drizzle with sesame oil, set aside
  • 2
    Whisk together sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

    Heat a large wok over medium high heat. Add ground beef (or other protein) and onions. Cook until the beef is almost cooked through. Add broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, garlic and ginger and cook an additional 2 minutes.

    Stir in the sauce and bring to a simmer for about 1 minute, until thickened. Add the ramen and toss until evenly coated, about one minute. Noodles should be al dente.

    Season to taste with additional hot sauce, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with chopped green onions to serve.
