Easy Peasy Macaroni and Cheesey
1 lbdry macaroni (any shape), cooked and drained
3 cwhole milk
1 tsppepper (we like it spicey so we use ground red pepper)
6 Tbspbutter (not margerine)
8 ozvelvetta, cubed
16 ozextra sharp cheddar, grated
1 lbdiced ham, or smoked sausage
How to Make Easy Peasy Macaroni and Cheesey
- In a saucepan cook milk, cornstarch, and pepper over low heat until it just starts to thicken.
- Add Butter and stir in until it melts. Then Add sharp cheese slowly until melted and incorperated into the milk mixture. Then add in the velvetta cheese and stir until melted.
- Mix with noodles. Add ham or sausage if you like. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned on top
