easy pasta primavera

This recipe came from my niece's home economics class. We made it for Easter as a side dish, and it is not only easy but delicious! Leftovers are also good eaten cold.

Ingredients
- 2 cups bowtie pasta, uncooked
- 2 1/2 cups assorted cut up vegetables (can use frozen)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
How To Make easy pasta primavera

Step 1Cook pasta in a large saucepan, adding vegetables during the last 3-4 minutes of cooking. Drain well and set aside.

Step 2Using the same saucepan, place cream, cheese, broth, butter, dill weed, garlic, salt and thyme. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes.

Step 3Add pasta and vegetables; toss gently to coat. Serve with additional parmesan.
