This is a family favorite; easy without cooking noodles in advance. Use your favorite spaghetti sauce & lighten the recipe with low-fat cheeses if desired. It's always great.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 32 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried and basil
- 12 ounces cottage cheese, lowfat
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 9 - lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
How To Make easy one-step lasagna

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Brown beef, drain & stir in spaghetti sauce, water, basil & oregano. Simmer 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 2In a small bowl, combined cottage cheese & beaten egg.

Step 3Spread thin layer meat sauce in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Layer 1/3 noodles, 1/3 sauce, 1/3 cottage cheese & 1/3 mozzarella; repeat, ending with mozzarella; sprinkle with parmesan. Cover with foil, bake 30 minutes. Remove foil & bake additional 25-30 minutes. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
