Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 12-16 ounces spaghetti, uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional as garnish)

How To Make easy chili spaghetti

  • Step 1
    Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain until ready to serve.
  • Step 2
    Brown ground beef and onions in a skillet until almost cooked through; drain grease, if necessary.
  • Step 3
    Add the rest of the ingredients, except the spaghetti. Bring to a simmer, then cover. Cook until meat is cooked through and the onions are tender (about 10 minutes).
  • Step 4
    Serve the chili over the spaghetti. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
