Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce or worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 3 teaspoons fllour
- 1 cup cold water
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 package wide egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons oil, divided
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make easy beef stroganoff

Step 1Boil egg noodles as directed on package to desired doneness.

Step 2While noodles are cooking, slice sirloin into 1" thin strips. Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet, and add sirloin. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 3Remove sirloin from pan, and add remaining 1 tbsp oil to pan. Saute onions and mushrooms until tender and onions are caramelized, abt 3 minutes. Add sirloin, teriyaki or Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook an additional 3 minutes.

Step 4Mix flour in cold water and add to pan. Stir continuously until thickened. Remove from heat and add sour cream.

Step 5Drain noodles and lightly drizzle with olive oil. Serve stroganoff over noodles.
