Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato paste
  • 2 c
    ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb
    ziti, cooked
  • 2 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 pkg
    dry bread crumbs
  • 16 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 2
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make Easy Baked Ziti

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown beef; drain.
  2. Add tomato sauce, paste, spaghetti sauce mix, and garlic.
  3. Simmer about 15 minutes.
  4. Pour over cooked pasta.
  5. Add ricotta and stir to mix well.
  6. Grease a large casserole dish.
  7. Pour half the pasta mixture into bottom.
  8. Top with 1 cup mozzarella.
  9. Pour in remaining pasta.
  10. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
