easy baked macaroni and cheese

I was driving home from work craving macacroni and cheese and thought why can't I use my alfredo recipe and just change up the cheese. Well I did and my family loved it!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 1 - stick of butter
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 16 ounces sharp cheddard cheese, shredded
  • - pepper to taste
  • - 1/2 a sleeve of crushed ritz crackers

How To Make easy baked macaroni and cheese

  • Step 1
    Cook elbows according to package directions and drain, do not rinse. In same pan melt butter. Add heavy cream and cheese and stir until melted. Add pepper to taste. Pour elbows back into to pan and mix thoughly. Pour into buttered cassarole dish and top with crushed ritz crackers.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly, about 20 minutes.
