dreamy chicken pasta
This is my favorite Chicken Alfredo recipe ever! I got this recipe from another website and have adapted it and added the basil. It really makes the sauce!

Ingredients
- 10 ounces linguine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 1/2 ounces chopped spinach
- 3 ounces sun dried tomato
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
How To Make dreamy chicken pasta

Step 1Cook pasta according to pasta directions.

Step 2Before draining pasta set aside a cup of the salted pasta water just in case.

Step 3For chicken… Sprinkle both sides of chicken with salt and pepper

Step 4Melt half the butter in a large skillet over high heat

Step 5Add chicken and cook for two minutes on each side until deep golden brown.

Step 6Remove chicken on the plate rest for a few minutes and then shred.

Step 7For the sauce… Turn down the heat to medium high. In the same skillet add remaining butter and garlic.

Step 8Cook garlic slowly for 30 seconds until golden, then add the wine.

Step 9Stir garlic and wine, simmer. Once mostly evaporated, add chicken broth, cream, Parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes.

Step 10Simmer on medium for 3 to 5 minute stirring until it reduces and thickens. Add basil

Step 11Add spinach, chicken, and pasta. Toss pasta until the sauce thickens and coats pasta well. Use pasta water to thin sauce if needed. A little at a time.
