dove stroganoff
This is 1 of the many recipes that I have developed over my lifetime of outdoor life. NOTE: I will not publish in cookbook this dove recipe because of the Bible Story of Noah's Ark, but several people seem to like it, so here it is...enjoy.

Ingredients
- 18 - 20 - dove breasts
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 - celery stalks, chopped
- 1 can (10 & 3/4 oz.) cream of celery soup
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon bottled brown bouquet sauce
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- - cooked noodles
How To Make dove stroganoff

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2Place dove breasts in a large baking dish.

Step 3Salt and pepper well.

Step 4Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in butter.

Step 5Mix in the remaining ingredients except for the sour cream.

Step 6Pour over dove breasts.

Step 7Cover and bake for 2 hours or until tender; stir occasionally.

Step 8Add sour cream.

Step 9Stir well.

Step 10Bake, uncovered, for an additional 20 minutes.

Step 11Serve over noodles.
