This is 1 of the many recipes that I have developed over my lifetime of outdoor life.

NOTE: I will not publish in cookbook this dove recipe because of the Bible Story of Noah's Ark, but several people seem to like it, so here it is...enjoy.

Convection Oven

Ingredients

18 - 20
dove breasts
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium
onion, chopped
4
celery stalks, chopped
1 can(s)
(10 & 3/4 oz.) cream of celery soup
1 lb
fresh mushrooms, sliced
4 Tbsp
butter
2 tsp
oregano
1 tsp
bottled brown bouquet sauce
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 c
sour cream
cooked noodles

How to Make DOVE STROGANOFF

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2Place dove breasts in a large baking dish.
  • 3Salt and pepper well.
  • 4Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in butter.
  • 5Mix in the remaining ingredients except for the sour cream.
  • 6Pour over dove breasts.
  • 7Cover and bake for 2 hours or until tender; stir occasionally.
  • 8Add sour cream.
  • 9Stir well.
  • 10Bake, uncovered, for an additional 20 minutes.
  • 11Serve over noodles.
