Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup macaroni, cooked
  • 1 cup tomato soup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • - "just a pinch" of salt
  • - "just a pinch" of pepper

How To Make dorothy's goulash

  • Step 1
    Saute onions in butter.
  • Step 2
    Add ground beef and brown.
  • Step 3
    Season while onion and meat are browning.
  • Step 4
    Cook macaroni.
  • Step 5
    Stir macaroni into meat mixture, add tomato soup and water.
  • Step 6
    Simmer in heavy skillet, covered 15 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Serve with lettuce salad and cornbread.
