This recipe is one of my families favorites. I can't make it without inviting my Father-In-Law over or he'll be upset to know we ate it with him getting any !!! It's simple, fast and very good !

prep time 10 Min
cook time 30 Min
method ---
yield 5-7 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pound pasta, cooked & drained ( i use the corkscrew shaped pasta )
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 1/2 pounds hamburger ( i like chopped sirlion)
  • 2 tablespoons flour ( all purpose )
  • 1/4 teaspoon each of garlic salt, sea salt & pepper

How To Make doreen's slop !

  • Step 1
Melt butter in a large skillet and brown chopped onions until they are translucent, add salt, garlic salt and pepper. Add meat and cook until browned.
  • Step 2
When meat is browned, add in cream of chicken soup and stir well, add in the flour ( the flour is to help soak up some of the grease from the meat and help to thicken the sauce ) continue to cook until all bubbly and well combined. Then add in sour cream and mix well.
  • Step 3
Have your pasta already cooked and in a very large bowl. Pour meat mixture over the pasta and mix together well, sever hot.
  • Step 4
I serve this meal with a large tossed salad. There is plenty for leftovers which tastes great the next day for lunch. Enjoy !
