This is an easy inexpensive filling meal. When my Dad was a kid his father was in the kitchen making dinner.My dad walked in and asked his father what was for dinner. His father was opening cans of dog food to feed the pets and my Dad said, "Ewww are we having dog food for dinner?" Of course his father said "yes" and there is how the name was born ...I love that story.

Ingredients
- 1 box elbow macaroni
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion ,chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper,chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can chili w/beans
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
How To Make dog food

Step 1Cook macaroni according to package, drain well.

Step 2Brown ground beef in a large pot.

Step 3add chopped onion and green pepper.

Step 4add diced tomatoes and chili w/beans

Step 5cook until onion and peppers are done.

Step 6add spaghetti sauce. Heat to low boil.

Step 7add macaroni and mix well.

Step 8Serve with bread and salad to complete meal.
