Ingredients For crispy garlic noodles

  • 1 lb
    Chinese egg noodles or rice noodles
  • olive oil
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 10 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 2
    green onions, chopped

How To Make crispy garlic noodles

  • 1
    Boil the noodles in water until cooked. Drain and add olive oil so they don't stick together.

    Add the butter to a saucepan. Once melted add the garlic and cook stirring constantly for about 5 minutes.

    Add the oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and white pepper. Cook for 2 more minutes.

    Add the noodles to the sauce and toss.

    Increase the heat to medium. Press the noodles and let cook undisturbed to crisp it up. Top with the green onions and stir to incorporate the onions and crisp up again. Serve.
