creamy turkey & noodles

I was given the original recipe several years ago by a friend. It originally called for ground beef, regular cream cheese and whole milk. Ground chicken can also be used. This is a quick and easy dish to prepare. I don't add salt due to the sodium in the creamed soup but, it can be added. I usually serve it with a green salad but, it's great by itself as well. Ingredients
- 1 pound ground lean (93%) turkey
- 8 ounces fat free cream cheese, cubed
- 1 (10.75) can cream of mushroom soup
- 6 ounces 2% milk
- 1 cup canned yellow corn, drained
- 2 pounds pkg. whole wheat wide noodles

Step 1Prepare noodles according to pkg directions. While noodles are cooking, brown turkey in about 1/4 cup water (prevents sticking). Drain and add remaining ingredients. Heat over medium high heat, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted and mixture is well blended. Serve over hot noodles.
