Ingredients
- 8 ounces noodles ( fine preferred)
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 - chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 15 ounces tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup chopped green onion
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese
How To Make italian ground beef casserole

Step 1Cook noodles to desired doneness; drain.

Step 2Brown ground beef; drain.

Step 3Simmer ground beef, onion, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Bring mixture to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4Cream the cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream together. Add chopped green onions.

Step 5Pour over noodles and mix well. Layer 1/2 the noodle mixture and 1/2 the ground beef mixture in casserole dish. Repeat.

Step 6Top with shredded cheese.

Step 7Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
