Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! This was sooooo good! Best side dish for company! Want it meatier? Just add some meatballs!

Ingredients

  • 1 package egg noodles, no-yolk variety
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 - 8 oz packages baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, fat-free
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • OPTIONAL:
  • - meatballs, cooked

How To Make creamy onion mushroom egg noodles

  • Step 1
    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta & cook according to package directions or until al dente; drain.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan; add onion; cook 5 minutes. Add mushrooms; cook 5 minutes. Add soups; stir to combine.
  • Step 3
    When noodles are done immediately add to onion/mushroom/soup mixture & add garlic salt & pepper over medium heat, stirring to coat all noodles; cook, 5 minutes or until heated through.
  • Step 4
    If desired, add some cooked meatballs & stir.
