Ingredients
- 1 package egg noodles, no-yolk variety
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 - 8 oz packages baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, fat-free
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- OPTIONAL:
- - meatballs, cooked
How To Make creamy onion mushroom egg noodles

Step 1Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta & cook according to package directions or until al dente; drain.

Step 2Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan; add onion; cook 5 minutes. Add mushrooms; cook 5 minutes. Add soups; stir to combine.

Step 3When noodles are done immediately add to onion/mushroom/soup mixture & add garlic salt & pepper over medium heat, stirring to coat all noodles; cook, 5 minutes or until heated through.

Step 4If desired, add some cooked meatballs & stir.
