Always loved Linguine and Clam Sauce. But always hated how blah it was and how all the sauce ended up on the bottom. So next time I added a cream sauce pkg to the sauce and it turned out wonderful. Everyone and even my kids love it. This is a quick and easy dinner.

progresso white clam sauce
1 or 2 can(s)
chopped or whole clams or both.... more cans if you are a clam lover like we are.
1 pkg
alfredo or cream sauce (dry package) cream sauce pkg is best
milk for creamy texture, start with 1/4 cup
1 box
linguine, cook as directed, love with linguini the best

How to Make Creamy Linguine and Clam Sauce


  • 1In Saucepan combine, clam sauce, clams and pkg cream sauce and milk. Heat till start thickening. add milk if gets too thick, stir constantly.
  • 2Linguine, cook as directed on box, can use any pasta you like.

    When Clam Sauce is thickened, pour over pasta. Serve with Garlic bread or Cheese Bread and even a salad. ENJOY !!!!!!
