I came up with this recipe tonight (03-13-13). I had leftover hamburger from tacos & wanted to use it up. I had bought the cooking creme & forgot what recipe I wanted it for. If it's not creamy enough, use 2 containers of the creme. I used Savory Garlic tonight. It was really good & not to garlicky.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 - green bell pepper, seeded & chopped
  • 1 package noodles
  • 1 package philadelphia cooking creme, any flavor
  • 2 - large handfuls grated cheese, any flavor or flavor blend

How To Make creamy hamburger mac

  • Step 1
Fry hamburger, onions & bell pepper until done, seasoning the meat to your taste with garlic powder, seasoned salt & black pepper. Onions & bell pepper will be soft when cooked.
  • Step 2
Boil noodles according to box or package directions. Drain noodles in a colander. Do NOT rinse! Shake off any excess water, then pour noodles into a large bowl. Add cooking creme to hot noodles & stir to coat all the noodles.
  • Step 3
Add hamburger & cheese & stir again.
  • Step 4
Serve with your favorite veggie side dish.
