butter
1 medium
onion finely chopped
2 clove
garlic minced
12 oz
lean ground beef
1/3 c
all purpose flour
1 c
beef broth, reduced sodium
1 can(s)
evaporated milk {370ml}
1 c
frozen peas thawed
1 1/2 c
extra old cheddar cheese shredded
1/3 c
chopped parsley
4 tsp
dijon mustard
salt and pepper
2 c
elbow macaroni
1 c
grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Creamy Beef Noodles

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  • 2In large saucepan melt butter, add onions and cook until they begin to soften about 3 minutes, add garlic and cook another minute or two, add beef breaking it up with wooden spoon cook about 5 minutes, stir in flour ans cook another 2 minutes, stir in broth and milk, bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium stir in the peas, cheddar cheese, mustard parsley and S and P.
  • 3combine the pasta with the other ingredients and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese...sprinkle with a little paprika for added color and flavor.
