Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 4 ounces mushrooms, stems and pieces
- 10.75 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup pimento
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces noodles, uncooked

Step 1Cook and stir the meat and onion in a large skillet until the meat is brown.

Step 2Drain off the excess fat.

Step 3Stir in the undrained mushroom pieces and the remaining ingredients.

Step 4Heat to boiling then reduce the heat and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender, about 25 minutes.

Step 5A small amount of water can be added if necessary.

Step 6Serve hot.
