Ingredients For creamy angel hair pasta with shrimp

  • 3 lg
    eggs + 2 yolks
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c
    asiago cheese, grated
  • 4 oz
    hard salami, 1/2 inch sliced
  • 4 slice
    bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 lb
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1/2 lb
    angel hair pasta
  • 1 c
    pasta water
  • salt and pepper

How To Make creamy angel hair pasta with shrimp

    Whisk together the 3 eggs + yolks with the parmesan and asiago cheeses in a large bowl.

    In another bowl mix shrimp, garlic, onion powder, oregano, smoked paprika salt and pepper. Make sure shrimp are well coated

    Heat a large skillet over med-high heat. Cook salami and bacon till crispy. Transfer to paper towel. Add shrimp to skillet and cook shrimp till done and opaque.

    Cook pasta according to directions, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

    Add hot pasta to egg mixture mixing constantly and quickly. Add shrimp, bacon and salami. Mix everything together adding some pasta water to develop a smooth, creamy sauce. Garnish with parsley and grated parmesan cheese.
