Ingredients

  • 1 box pasta of choice
  • 1 pound bulk hot italian sausage, cooked & drained
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked & drained
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 2 - 3 jars sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 - 26 oz. jars pasta sauce, your choice
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • - parsley, chopped

How To Make classic baked pasta casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook sausage, beef, garlic, onions, mushrooms, green peper together, drain of fat/grease.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare pasta according to directions on package, drain & cool.
  • Step 3
    In large bowl combine pasta, meat/veggie mixture, sauce & 2 C cheese, mix well. Put into greased 13 x 9 pan. Cover.
  • Step 4
    Bake 45 minutes (uncovered). Top with remaining cheese & parsley. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
