This is one of those recipes that is so very simple to make, with very little ingredients, but the flavors together make it a "Gourmet Party" in your mouth.

  • 8 oz
    chopped clams in juice
  • 4
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    dozen clams
  • 1
    dozen mussels
  • 8 oz
    linguini pasta
  • 1 bunch
    chopped flat leaf parsley
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 2 c
    white wine
  • 2 Tbsp

How to Make Clams & Mussels in a Garlic Wine Sauce


  1. cook pasta al dente...about 9 mins
  2. in a large skillet, add the olive oil and crushed garlic, chopped clams with juice, the white wine, red pepper flakes...add the mussels and clams, cover 5 mins, till they open...add the drained pasta and gently toss, add the butter at the last min.
  3. sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy.
