This is one of those recipes that is so very simple to make, with very little ingredients, but the flavors together make it a "Gourmet Party" in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces chopped clams in juice
  • 4 - garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 - dozen clams
  • 1 - dozen mussels
  • 8 ounces linguini pasta
  • 1 bunch chopped flat leaf parsley
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How To Make clams & mussels in a garlic wine sauce

  • Step 1
    cook pasta al dente...about 9 mins
  • Step 2
    in a large skillet, add the olive oil and crushed garlic, chopped clams with juice, the white wine, red pepper flakes...add the mussels and clams, cover 5 mins, till they open...add the drained pasta and gently toss, add the butter at the last min.
  • Step 3
    sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy.
