Ingredients

1 lb90% lean ground beef

1 csalsa, mild

1green pepper-chopped

4green onions-chopped (reserve about 1/4 cup to garnish)

1 largeclove garlic-minced

1/2 tspkosher salt

1 Tbspchili powder

1/2 tspground cumin
-
1-4 ozcan chopped green chilies
-
1-8 ozwide egg noodles
-
1/2 csour cream
-
1/2 cshredded munster cheese-or cheddar
-
1beefsteak tomato-sliced thin-to garnish
How to Make Chili Stroganoff
- In a large nonstick skillet, cook and stir ground beef until browned with garlic, green onions, green peppers and all seasonings.
- Stir in salsa and green chilies. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Serve meat mixture over noodles with sour cream and shredded cheese on top and garnish with sliced tomatoes and green onions.
