This is one of my favorites for a chilly night. I serve it with garlic bread. And then a sweet dessert. You can freeze this dish. Don't put the cheese on until ou bake it. It is real easy and good

Ingredients
- 10 ounces penne pasta or any kind you may have
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 can (14.5oz) del monte diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 can 7 oz diced green chilies drained
- 2 cups shredded mexican cheese

Step 11. COOK pasta according to package directions, drain

Step 22;. Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet, drain. Add Chili powder, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, salsa and chilies Cook 5 minutes.

Step 3Toss pasta and sauce. Spoon into a 13X9 inch baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake t 350 Degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 4This can be frozen for a later quick meal. Take out of freezer spread 2 cups Shredded Mexican Cheese Place into preheated oven until meat is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
