My mom used to make this instead of spaghetti because the noodles were easier to pick up with a fork and it added a little spice to it too. I like to also have garlic bread with cheese with it.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Julie's recipe should be a staple on any busy mom's menu. It's simple and easy to throw together. The whole crew loved this dish. The seasoning packet adds all the flavor you'd expect from a chili but you don't have to grab multiple spice jars. It seriously doesn't get easier than this recipe. Serve with a side salad and garlic bread and you have a super quick meal.
In a large Dutch oven, brown hamburger and onion until hamburger is no longer pink and the onion is translucent. Drain off excess fat. Return to pot.
Add spaghetti sauce.
Add the Chili-o-seasoning. Stir.
In another large pot boil the shells until al dente.
Combine meat mixture with shells and stir carefully as to not tear the shells.
Garnish with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy.
