You can use store bought pesto but I always make my own.

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt
- 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 12 ounces fettuccine
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to an even inch
- pepper
- paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
How To Make chicken with pesto fettucine

Step 1Place the basil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, and some salt in a food processor. Drizzle in 1/2 cup olive oil while the pesto is processing. Remove from food processor and set aside.

Step 2Cook the fettuccine in boiling salted water until al dente; Drain. Mix the pesto with the fettuccine.

Step 3Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the remaining oil and the butter to a skillet and get it hot. Cook the chicken for 4 minutes on each side. Serve with the pesto fettuccine and top with Parmesan cheese.
