Ingredients
- 6 - skinless and boneless chicken breast halves,cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons sweet and tangy seasoning
- 1 cup caesar dressing
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 16 ounces package dry penne pasta
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 cup creamy caesar dressing
- 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 cup crushed salad croutons
How To Make chicken caesar macaroni and cheese

Step 1Coat the sides and bottom of a 8-inch square casserole dish with cooking spray.

Step 2Heat olive oil in a large,deep skillet over medium heat.Cook raw chicken strips in the skillet until no longer pink in the center,5 to 7 minutes.Season with sweet and tangy seasoning.Remove from heat.

Step 3Place in a large ziplock bag,add caesar dressing,grated parmesan cheese and garlic powder,zip the bag and marinade for 2 hours.

Step 4After that,take the chicken strips out of the ziplock bag,transfer to a prepared casserole dish.

Step 5Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 6Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.Cook penne pasta in the boiling water,stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite,8 minutes;drain and mix with chicken in the casserole dish.

Step 7Melt the magarine in a large pot over medium heat.Cook flour in melted margarine until the flour is cooked and the mixture forms a roux,about 5 minutes.Steam milk into the pot while stirring to mix with the roux completely,add caesar dressing;cook until just about simmering,about 5 minutes more.

Step 8Add cheeses in small amounts to the sauce and stir to melts completely before adding the next position;cook and stir until thick and smooth,2 to 3 minutes.

Step 9Pour the sauce over the chicken and penne pasta;stir to coat.Sprinkle with crushed salad croutons.

Step 10Bake in preheated oven until the topping is crispy,30 to 35 minutes.
