Ingredients For chicken and spinach lasagna

  • SAUCE
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 c
    half and half
  • 1/4 c
    grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz
    whipped cream cheese
  • 4 c
    baby spinach
  • salt and pepper
  • LASAGNA
  • 9
    lasagna noodles
  • 1 c
    ricotta cheese
  • 1
    egg
  • 2 c
    cooked chicken, rotisserie chicken is good here
  • 2 c
    shredded mozzarella

How To Make chicken and spinach lasagna

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Cook the lasagna noodle in boiling salted water for 10 minutes.

    Add butter to a saucepan. Once melted, add the garlic and flour. Whisk for about 30 seconds.

    Then add the half and half and stir until thickened.

    Add the Parmesan, cream cheese, and spinach. Cook until the cheese is melted, and the spinach is cooked.

    Grease a 9 X 13 pan. Whisk the egg and ricotta together.

    Layer starting with the sauce, then 3 lasagna noodles.

    Then add chicken and mozzarella. Do it two more times ending with mozzarella.

    Bake for 30 minutes. Then let it rest 15 minutes.
