chessy spaghetti tacos
This is my kid's all-time favorite meal. They got the idea from a TV show but, of course, we made up our own recipe. It's kinda like two meals in one. It's super easy to make... and the kids love it!!!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 can Hunt's traditional pasta sauce
- 1 package whole grain thin spaghetti
- 8 ounces Velveeta cheese
- - cheddar cheese for topping
- 1 package taco shells, we us the kind with the flat bottom
How To Make chessy spaghetti tacos
-
Step 1Brown ground meat...add taco seasoning.
-
Step 2Add the pasta sauce plus three cans of water.
-
Step 3Break the uncooked spaghetti noodles in half and add to the mixture. Bring up to a boil, turn down to simmer and cover. Stirring occasionally so the noodles don't stick together.
-
Step 4Once the noodles are cooked add the cubed Velveeta to the mixture. Turn off the burner and cover for about 10 min allow the cheese to melt.Once it's melted stir well.
-
Step 5Add spaghetti mixture to a taco shell and top with cheddar cheese. I melt the cheese under the broiler but it's not necessary.
