This is a unique twist on tuna casserole and a family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 can tuna, canned
  • 4 ounces Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup Durkee fried onions
  • 1/2 cup green olives, sliced

How To Make cheesy tuna casserole

  • Step 1
    Boil noodles, per package instructions. Drain noodles and return them to the pot.
  • Step 2
    Stir in tuna, drained, Cream of Mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder and onion powder. Turn on heat to medium and add Velveeta. Cook until Velveeta is melted in to tuna mixture.
  • Step 3
    Put tuna noodle mixture into a casserole dish with a lid and top with shredded Cheddar cheese and sliced green olives. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Remove casserole from the oven and sprinkle Durkee onions over the top. Return to oven without the lid and bake 5 minutes more.
