This is a quick, easy comfort food for me. I don't make it very often because the husband isn't a fan, but my daughters (and every other kid I know) LOVE it!

Ingredients For cheeseburger macaroni

  • 1 box
    kraft macaroni & cheese
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 lb
    ground beef, cooked & drained
  • 1 md
    onion, sauteed with the ground beef
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup

How To Make cheeseburger macaroni

    Cook & drain the ground beef and onion in advance. Set aside.

    Cook and drain the macaroni according to box instructions. Return macaroni to the pot.

    Add ground beef/onion mixture and all remaining ingredients, including cheese packet. Adjust milk as necessary. Stir over low heat until everything is incorporated and creamy. Sometimes I toss in extra shredded cheese or black pepper, depending on my mood.
