Ingredients
- 16 - lasagna noodles cooked and cooled
- 1 large container full fat ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh basil minced divided
- VODKA SAUCE
- 1 large sweet onion chopped
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cans 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups vodka
- 1 small can tomato paste
- - salt and pepper to taste

Step 1For the sauce Saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil until translucent. Add the crushed tomatoes and vodka. Simmer 1/2 hour. Add the tomato paste heavy cream and 1/4 cup basil. Simmer another 1/2 hour. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 2Mix the cheeses together with the other 1/4 cup basil. Lay out the lasagna noodles on wax paper. Cover the entire length of noodle with cheese mixture. Roll up and place in greased cooking pan seam side down.

Step 3When all are finished spoon sauce over top. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
