Ingredients

  • 6 ounces spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 teaspoon cooking oil
  • 6 - eggs, beaten
  • 10 ounces spinach, chopped, frozen
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • - "just a pinch" of pepper

How To Make cheese and pasta pie

  • Step 1
    Combine the pasta, oil and 2 eggs and press into the bottom and up the sides of a 10\" quiche or pie pan.
  • Step 2
    Cover the edge of the pasta with greased foil to prevent burning.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a 375 degree oven 7 to 10 minutes or until set.
  • Step 4
    Cook the frozen spinach according to package directions.
  • Step 5
    Drain well.
  • Step 6
    Add the sliced onion, parsley and basil. Beat together the ricotta, 4 eggs and milk, add 1/2 cup mozzarella and stir in the vegetable mixture, worcestershire, seasonings and parmesan.
  • Step 7
    Spoon into the pasta shell.
  • Step 8
    Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  • Step 9
    Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
