Ingredients

2 lbground beef
-
1 largeonion chopped

1 jar(s)14 oz. your choice spaghetti sauce

1 can(s)14.5 oz. stewed tomatoes

1 can(s)mushrooms stems and pieces drained

8 ozcooked and drained pasta shells
-
2 csour cream divided
-
6 ozsliced provolone
-
6 ozsliced mozzeralla
-
1 Tbspminced garlic
-
·20 pepperoni (optional)
How to Make CHEESE AND PASTA BAKE
- 1. In skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until done. Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and mushrooms. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes uncovered.
Meanwhile, spoon half of shells into a 4 qt. baking dish. Layer with 1/2 meat mixture.Spread with 1 cup sour cream, top with provolone. Layer with remaining pasta, meat mixture and sour cream. Top with mozzeralla.
Cover and bake 350 degrees in pre heated oven for 45 minutes until bubbly and heated through. - NOTE: For a more pizza taste, add a layer of pepperoni on the provolone before putting the 2nd layer of pasta on.
