Ingredients
- 1 pound cavatappi pasta, cooked in salted water and drained
- TOMATILLO PESTO
- 8 tomatillos, husked and rough chop
- 1 bunch cilantro, rough chop
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 1 medium lime, juiced
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
How To Make cavatappi with tomatillo pesto

Step 1Place all the ingredients for the pesto except oil in a food processor. Process pouring in the oil until its well mixed and smoothish.

Step 2Taste and adjust for salt and pepper.

Step 3Mix hot pasta with the pesto and serve immediately.
